Shareholder communication

Coal & Allied recognises the importance of effective communication with shareholders and the general investment community.

Full advantage is taken of the annual general meetings to inform shareholders of current developments and to give shareholders the opportunity to ask questions.  Coal & Allied's external auditor attends the annual general meeting and is available to answer shareholder questions about the conduct of the audit and the preparation and content of the auditor's report.

Shareholders are also able to submit written questions regarding the statutory audit report to the auditors via the company.  Shareholders unable to attend meetings are encouraged to appoint a proxy to vote either as they direct or at their discretion.

Coal & Allied believes that investor seminars presentations and briefings on financial and operations issues, including social and environmental performance, are valuable ways of communicating with relevant professionals, employees and other interested people.  Coal & Allied gives equal access to information disclosed in investor seminars, presentations and briefings.  If any such event is used to disclose new material it will, in advance or simultaneously, be disclosed to the Australian Stock Exchange and in a media release and be made available as a webcast and/or a teleconference, and/or a transcript posted on the website.

Continuous disclosure

To ensure shareholders are kept informed in a timely manner Coal & Allied has adopted a Continuous Disclosure Policy.
